Scholarship

Carla Pavone focuses on strategic decision-making and organizational learning in entrepreneurial settings, including venture capitalists, social enterprise lenders, high growth firms, and high-tech companies.

Entrepreneurial Experience

Carla Pavone’s first career was in start-ups in magazine and book publishing, as well as data conversion services.  She then led internal start-ups and turnarounds for an American Express financial services subsidiary, including a business that grew to over $1 billion in assets in about one year.  She also has served as a pro bono consultant and board member of social ventures focusing on economic development, social services, and education.
