Mission

  • The Institute’s mission is to inspire and nurture future generations of entrepreneurs and deliver transformational entrepreneurship education and experiences university-wide.

Vision
  • The Institute’s vision is to be a world’s leading research and education institute for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Distinguishing Elements

A leading research and education institute for entrepreneurship and innovation distinguished through five key elements:

  • Research: Excellence in research resulting in the creation of thought-leading entrepreneurship and innovation knowledge and publication in top academic journals.
  • Faculty: A world-class, multidisciplinary, nationally ranked Faculty with expert knowledge in their fields totaling 13 tenured / tenure-track positions including 3 endowed chairs.
  • Education: A distinguished curriculum featuring team-teaching, integrated experiential learning, and the required creation and management of a new venture by every entrepreneurship student before graduation.
  • Programs: Comprehensive, experiential undergraduate and graduate student entrepreneurship programs, and a premiere Ph.D. program in entrepreneurship.
  • Results: Annual creation of 100 exceptionally well-trained entrepreneurs and 10 high-growth ventures upon maturity.
