extension of the entrepreneurship curriculum, the
Enterprise
Development Laboratory (ED Lab)combines entrepreneurship
education with hands-on business development.
Here students and faculty
experience, in real time, all the tasks—and attendant
frustration—required to transform new innovations into
market-ready high-growth businesses.
Each year, the ED Lab works
with the university and the community to identify
technologies that can translate into high-growth potential
businesses.
Business models built around
the technologies enter competition and the best ideas turn
into businesses.
