Mentor Network

E-Scholars offers the largest, most extensive network of entrepreneurial mentors in Kansas City. More than 120 highly successful and accomplished business leaders, serial entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, and founders of globally recognized companies serve as mentors in the program, providing one-on-one consulting and group mentoring sessions.

Networking Events

We regularly hold networking events for E-Scholar mentors and ventures once each month and at special events throughout the year. We maintain a close connection with the entrepreneur community in Kansas City and alert E-Scholars to events in the community that could be beneficial to their venture.

Entrepreneurs In Residence

Mentors hold regular office hours at Bloch Executive Hall to counsel ventures. Mentors are in their offices Monday through Thursday from 3 to 7 PM. Ventures can sign up for sessions with mentors to discuss any aspect of their venture or to access the specific expertise of a mentor. Entrepreneur in Residence profiles can be accessed here.

E-Scholar Alumni

Over 140 entrepreneurs have completed the E-Scholars Program. These entrepreneurs run over 100 ventures and are a vital part of the Kansas City entrepreneurial community. E-Scholars alumni can provide counsel about how to execute, connect your venture to resources or expertise they have found, and directly assist your venture’s specific needs.

UMKC Entrepreneurial Legal Services Clinic
