UMKC’s
Small Business and Technology Development Center is an
outgrowth the U.S. Small Business Association’s Small
Business Development Centers (SBDC).
Nearly every state
houses an SBDC, but only five states—Arkansas, Kansas,
Michigan, North Carolina, and Missouri—have earned the
accreditation necessary to put the T in their SBDCs.
SBTDC offers
the following services:
- one-on-one counseling
- access to
expertise and educational programs covering a wide-range of
issues that face small business owners
- marketing, financial, and
strategic insight, based on research, facts and years of experience
to help business owners chart their course to success.
