The Regnier Family Foundations New
Venture Challenge Competition plays a big role in the
Institute. Students from both undergraduate and graduate level
classes evaluate technologies and work with the inventor and
community resources to build business plans.
Judging
guidelines reflect the assessment criteria of potential
investors, including venture capitalists, business angels,
banks, universities or public institutions, the overriding
criterion being fundability – would someone invest in this
idea?
