Finish Coatings, Inc. Winner in EMBA Business Plan
Competition
The pilot business plan
competition for the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and
Public Administration University of Missouri - Kansas City
was held on April 22nd by Dr. Michael Song,
Charles N. Kimball, MRI/Missouri Endowed Chair in Management
of Technology and Innovation and Professor of Marketing.
Teams from the current EMBA class competed. There were 15
top-notch judges from the business community who made the
decisions, gave feedback and made recommendations.
Todd Ailes, one of the team
members of Finish Coatings, Inc. said, “Participating in Dr.
Song’s business plan competition provided me with direction,
skills, and experience needed to become an entrepreneur. It
was great to have mentors who had experience in the
business world and merge that environment with the theory
and practice of the EMBA class.”
