At IEI, entrepreneurial research meets education and real-world problems. And now, with a new Ph.D. program, UMKC is one of very few universities in the country with a doctoral program in entrepreneurship. The Institute pairs individuals with world-renowned faculty in a rigorous program that prepares students for top-level positions in teaching and researching institutions.

Existing under the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. program at UMKC, the Institute’s doctoral program in entrepreneurship and innovation is housed in UMKC’s School of Graduate Studies.

For doctoral students from other disciplines, the Institute will provide a co-discipline and a minor that will allow them to add an entrepreneurship focus to their science or engineering Ph.D.  APPLY NOW!
